HYDROS Control Sole

The HYDROS Control Sole by CoralVue is a hybrid aquarium controller with a built-in continuous-duty dosing pump. Unlike standard dosers meant for short bursts, the Sole's stepper-driven pump is engineered to run non-stop — managing calcium reactor effluent, adding kalkwasser, dosing liquid foods, feeding sulfur reactors, and automating water changes. It works on saltwater and freshwater systems, runs standalone or as part of a HYDROS network, and sends alerts and notifications like any HYDROS device. Key features Continuous-duty dosing pump — heavy-duty, stepper-driven, and reversible for uninterrupted, precise dosing. Quiet operation with simple maintenance and 1/4″ push-fit fittings. Standalone or networked — pair with a HYDROS WiFi Power Strip, Control XP8, or Smart Plug to also command lights, pumps, and feeders. App control — global access via the HYDROS cloud app plus local WiFi monitoring and control. Command Bus for data and power distribution across a failsafe HYDROS collective. Specifications Pump speed range: 0.1 to 300 mL/min Tubing size: 3 × 5 mm (0.25″ push-fit) Pharmed pump head life: ~1,000 hours Dimensions (L×W×H): 6″ × 3.6″ × 4.125″ Processor: dual-core 32-bit — fast, independent decision-making Includes: Sole controller, power supply, and calibration beaker Frequently asked questions What can the HYDROS Sole dose? Calcium reactor effluent, kalkwasser, liquid foods, sulfur reactor feeds, and automated water changes — at anywhere from 0.1 to 300 mL/min. How is it different from a regular dosing pump? Its pump is rated for true continuous-duty operation, so it can run constantly (like handling reactor effluent) rather than only in short scheduled doses. Do I need another controller to switch outlets? To control power devices, pair the Sole with a HYDROS WiFi Power Strip, Control XP8, or Smart Plug. Building out dosing? Compare the standalone HYDROS Dosing Pump for scheduled additive dosing. Shipped fast with expert support.
