Hydro-Blok Uncoupling Membranes

Hydro-Blok Uncoupling Membranes The Hydro Blok Uncoupling Membrane is designed to decouple, or "uncouple," the tile layer from the substrate, allowing for independent movement between the two surfaces. This helps prevent stress, movement, and cracks in the tile and grout, which can occur due to substrate expansion and contraction. Features Prevents moisture from seeping through to the substrate Designed to reduce sound transmission, making them ideal for multi-story buildings or rooms where noise reduction is important It helps to maintain a consistent temperature on heated floors Antifungal Sold individually It can be installed on a range of substrates, including concrete, wood, and even existing tile
