OBS Solutions Hydro Boost Kit - 1987-1997 Ford F-Series & Bronco

OBS Solutions Hydroboost Brake Upgrade Kit (1987–1997 Ford F-Series) ⚠️ Please read the entire product description and instructions before ordering. Looking for a serious brake upgrade for your 1989–1997 OBS Ford truck? The OBS Solutions Hydroboost Kit is the ultimate bolt-on upgrade that ditches your vacuum-assisted braking system and replaces it with powerful hydroboost technology—delivering unmatched stopping power, especially when towing or running larger tires. 💡 What is Hydroboost? Hydroboost uses hydraulic pressure from your power steering system instead of engine vacuum to assist your brakes. This translates to: Stronger braking force Less pedal effort More consistent performance under load Perfect for daily driving, towing, off-roading, or anyone tired of soft pedal feel and inconsistent vacuum boosters. ✅ Key Features: Direct bolt-on system using your factory brake pedal, firewall, and master cylinder Eliminates the need to chase down old or obsolete F-SuperDuty hydroboost components Compatible with stock or Super Duty axles Perfect solution for trucks with poor vacuum or underwhelming braking performance 🔧 What’s Included in Each Kit: (2) Pressure lines and (1) return line with clamps (unless you're using an engine swap – see options below) Fittings to connect to your OEM or Super Duty-style power steering pump and steering box Brass Y-fitting for return line merging (unless you choose the Super Duty pump upgrade) 🛠️ Upgrade Options: Super Duty Power Steering Pump Upgrade Swap in a later model Super Duty power steering pump with built-in dual return ports. This eliminates the need for a Y-fitting and increases fluid capacity for smoother operation. Electric Vacuum Pump Kit for 7.3L Diesel Engines Still running a 7.3L IDI with a bulky vacuum booster? This electric vacuum pump upgrade frees up horsepower and cleans up your engine bay. Kit Includes: Electric vacuum pump Custom mounting bracket New belt tensioner Correct-length serpentine belt (See installation instructions linked at the top of the page.) 🔄 Application Notes: Fits all 1987–1997 Ford F-Series trucks (F-150, F-250, F-350)  For Super Duty axle swaps with rear disc brakes, we recommend using a 2005 6.0L master cylinder Retains stock master cylinder in most other applications Works with both gas and diesel engines ⚠️ Important Reminders: Please notify us if your steering box uses a 4-bolt cap, as you’ll need a different fitting setup. (This is common in late 1997 models.) This kit does not fix existing brake issues—it enhances your system’s performance assuming everything else is in good condition Installation instructions are linked at the top of this listing FOR OFF-ROAD USE ONLY Upgrade your OBS truck’s brake system with confidence. With the OBS Solutions Hydroboost Kit, you’ll feel the difference in every stop—whether you're on the job, hauling a trailer, or navigating trails.
