Hydrangeas on Shaver - 36"x36"

This is an abstract painting of flowers in front of a house. This painting is inspired by a pink hydrangea blooming in front of a dark blue house in Portland, Oregon. Every summer I fall in love all over again with Portland and its yards overflowing with flowers. On my walks to and from work I pause frequently to “stop and smell the roses” – and photograph the various blooming flowers. This summer, I was particularly drawn to all the hydrangeas in my neighborhood and specifically to the colors of hydrangeas against colorful houses.  36"x36” acrylic on canvas “CF” signature will be painted on the front Signed on the back with my full name, the year, and the painting’s title Sides are painted a pink-ish purple Wired and ready to hang Includes certificate of authenticity PLEASE NOTE: The price includes US ground shipping.
