Hydrangea Serrata Shinonome

Here is a very unusual mountain hydrangea We haven't seen such elongated petals since the Izu No Hana hydrangea! This dainty charmer is compact in nature, prolific in blooms that resemble shooting stars standing high above the fertile florets on the flat bloom head. Colors fill in to light blue/pink, depending on the pH of the soil then turning pink in late summer. Fall color on the slender leaves, too!
