On clean skin it is the preparation step before the Hydra3 Booster serum, and during the day it is a quick refresh over bare skin or makeup. How is it different from the rest of the Hydra3 line? It is the only step in the line that also works on the body and the only one you can use over finished makeup. Does it replace a toner? Yes, within this routine. It is the toning and preparation step that comes between cleansing and serum. Will it disturb makeup? No. Valmont reports improved makeup hold after spraying. Hold the bottle about 20 cm away so the mist lands as a fine, even veil. Is it just scented water? No. Alongside glycerin and sorbitol it carries the fermented gentian extract, Swiss apricot extract and aloe vera that give the line its character.
