HYDE Elara Jacket — Diego Rustic with Shearling Collar | Women's Luxury USA-Made Leather Jacket

Why we selected it The Elara in Diego Rustic is the statement piece of the women's leather collection — a distressed lambskin jacket with an asymmetrical zip, a plush shearling collar, and Rustic Napa trim detailing on the collar, pockets, and cuffs. It carries genuine architectural attitude without losing the lived-in softness that makes it wearable every day. For the woman who wants her outerwear to be the most interesting thing she's wearing, the Elara delivers. Craftsmanship Made in the USA by a three-generation family leather atelier with over four decades of craft behind every seam. The shell is English domestic lambskin, tanned in Italy and finished on the suede side. The skin is double-dyed — a lighter base layer first, a darker second dye applied over it — then hand-buffed to achieve its distinctive distressed appearance. It is normal and intended for each garment to develop an individual patina with wear. Six to seven skins are hand-matched per garment. Every seam sewn at exactly ten stitches per inch. The entire finished garment pressed. The Diego Rustic finish Suede-side English lambskin, double-dyed and hand-buffed to a softly distressed surface with natural tonal depth. The lighter base tone beneath the darker top layer reveals itself gradually with wear, giving the leather its warm, lived-in character. A plush genuine shearling collar adds warmth and tactile contrast, while smooth Rustic Napa leather trims the collar, pockets, and sleeve cuffs — lustrous detailing that frames the matte distressed shell. Styling The asymmetrical zip and shearling collar make the Elara a natural statement layer — pair it with denim and boots for modern western ease, or over cashmere and tailored trousers for elevated evening. The Diego Rustic tone works with cream, camel, rust, denim, and black. Wear the collar up for warmth and drama, or open for a softer line. Investment quality A double-dyed, hand-buffed distressed finish cannot be replicated by a factory process — it is applied to each individual skin, which is why every Elara is subtly unique. The shearling collar and Rustic Napa detailing are the kind of construction found only in investment-grade outerwear. At $2,395 the Elara is a statement piece built to last decades.
