Fonte (Hyaluronic Hydration serum)

Fonte is a lightweight, water-based hydrating serum built around hyaluronic acid — a naturally occurring molecule in the body that can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water. Applied topically, hyaluronic acid draws moisture from the environment and from deeper skin layers to the surface, providing immediate plumping and long-lasting hydration without heaviness, greasiness, or pore-clogging. The formula adds aloe vera for soothing and calming properties, and antioxidant vitamins to nourish and protect skin from free radical damage that accelerates aging and dullness. The result is a serum that feels like a drink of water for your skin — cooling, immediately comfortable, and effective at maintaining hydration under moisturizer throughout the day. Fonte works as the universal hydration step in any Semper Amate routine — applied after actives and before moisturizer to lock in water and buffer the skin from the dryness that exfoliants and acne treatments can cause. What it does: - Delivers deep, long-lasting hydration without clogging pores - Plumps fine lines caused by dehydration - Soothes post-treatment redness and sensitivity with aloe vera - Strengthens the moisture barrier over time - Creates a hydration layer that makes moisturizer work more effectively Who it's for: Fonte is appropriate for all skin types including oily and acne-prone. The biggest skincare misconception about oily skin is that it doesn't need hydration — in fact, dehydrated oily skin produces more oil to compensate, worsening acne and congestion. Fonte provides hydration without contributing to oiliness. Equally essential for dry, combination, sensitive, and post-treatment skin. How to use: Apply 2–4 drops to clean, slightly damp skin after your toner and any active serums. Press gently into skin — do not rub. Follow immediately with Repair, HydraGel, or your moisturizer of choice to seal the hydration in. Can be used morning and evening. On active treatment nights, Fonte goes on after your acid or vitamin A serum, before your moisturizer. Pairs well with: Any routine, any skin type. Always after actives, always before moisturizer. Frequently asked questions: *Can I use Fonte with my acne treatments? Yes — and you should. Hyaluronic acid is safe with every active in the Semper Amate line. Using it after Clear, Reset, or Resurfacer prevents the dryness and irritation that causes people to abandon their acne treatments prematurely. *My skin is oily. Do I still need a hydrating serum? Yes. Oily skin is often dehydrated (different from being dry — dehydration is a lack of water, not oil). Dehydrated skin produces more oil as a defense mechanism. Proper hydration with a lightweight serum like Fonte can actually reduce oiliness over time. *Is Fonte enough on its own without a moisturizer? In very humid climates, some oily skin types can use Fonte alone. In most conditions, and for most skin types, following with a light moisturizer gives better long-term results by sealing the hydration in.
