Bubble Blaster 1000 Skimmer Pump (HY-1000S)

The Reef Octopus Bubble Blaster 1000 Skimmer Pump (HY-1000S) is the OEM pump behind the SRO 1000 In-Sump Protein Skimmer, purpose-built for air shredding rather than adapted from a standard water pump. A digital control circuit board manages startup and RPM, and a clear volute housing lets you visually check for obstructions without disassembly. Best for: direct OEM replacement for the SRO 1000 and other compatible Reef Octopus skimmers Design: purpose-built pinwheel skimmer pump, digital start-up/RPM control, transparent volute housing Warranty: 2-year pump warranty Because it's designed from the ground up as a skimmer pump rather than a modified circulation pump, it draws significantly more air relative to water volume — which is what actually drives aggressive, efficient skimming. Compatible with: SRO 1000 In-Sump Protein Skimmer and other HY-1000S-equipped models.
