Hunter WRFCLIK Wireless Rain/Freeze Sensor with Quick Response

The Hunter WRFCLIK is a wireless rain and freeze sensor built to conserve water and protect landscapes. Featuring Hunter’s Quick Response technology and a rugged housing, this sensor stops irrigation when rain begins and prevents watering when temperatures drop to freezing. It’s designed for easy mounting on an eave, wall, fence or gutter and pairs with compatible irrigation controllers and receivers. Instant Quick Response shutoff: Detects the first drops and turns off irrigation in approximately 2–5 minutes to avoid wasted watering. Freeze protection: Automatic freeze shutoff at 37°F (3°C) prevents watering during freezing conditions. Wireless operation: Transmits up to 800' line-of-sight to compatible receivers (wireless frequency commonly 433 MHz); range may be reduced by walls or vegetation. Maintenance-light design: Wireless models use integrated power and are designed for long-term, trouble-free operation; check kit details for included components. Durable construction and mounting options: Rugged polycarbonate housing with adjustable vent ring, includes gutter and wall mounting hardware for straightforward installation. Controller compatibility: Works with most irrigation controllers; switch rating commonly 3 A at 24 VAC—refer to controller documentation when wiring. This product is supported by detailed documents including an owner’s manual, installation cards and a product cutsheet. Review the specific kit listing or packaging for whether a receiver is included, and consult installation literature for wiring, placement, and troubleshooting guidance.
