Crisp, gansey-inspired texture animates the fabric of this handsome V-neck vest in Arbor. An all-over welted rib motif yields to rope cables and chevrons on the upper torso; wide purl gutters delineate the sides. The work begins in the round, then divides at the armholes for flat knitting to the shoulders. Single-rib tubular edge treatments, worked circularly after shoulder seaming, make a polished and professional finish.
