This means that some of our customers, who have speakers exceeding 96 dB, are unable to fully experience the allure of our super tweeters. We have recently introduced the "HST" super tweeter, a dual firing AMT super tweeter with high sensitivity. This unit is built on the foundation of the DST technology, utilizing a larger size, higher efficiency, and more powerful AMT unit. With an impressive effective sensitivity of 103 dB, it can be seamlessly paired with any speaker that has a sensitivity up to 103 dB. Super Tweeter Sensitivity Ranges: PST Planar Ribbon Super Tweeter: 85-94 dB RST Aluminum Ribbon SuperTweeter: 85-96 dB DST AMT Ribbon Super Tweeter: 85-96 dB HST AMT Ribbon Super Tweeter: 98-103 dB Our new High Sensitivity Dual AMT Super tweeter delivers quick dynamics and an ultra-clear high frequency transient response, expanding the atmospheric sound stage like you've never heard before. The light, airy highs produced by our AMT super tweeter are incredibly smooth, providing an effect which transports you even further into the sonic abyss of your music and movies. Aperion Audio has introduced our newest HST-high sensitivity AMT super tweeter speaker, which utilizes the neodymium magnetic radial magnetic field (NRT) technology. In this design, the powerful magnetic poles are positioned on both sides of the sound membrane, resulting in a centripetal convergence that directly drives the sound unit. As a result, the radial magnetic field becomes more uniform and stronger, leading to improved sound density and off-axis response. Additionally, this technology eliminates any magnetic loss, resulting in higher magnet efficiency and increased sensitivity with minimal distortion. After years of development, we are pleased to introduce the High Sensitivity Dual Air Motion Super Tweeter-HST. The AMT driver measures 5 x 1 inches (128mm x 25mm) in size. The Kapton has a thickness of 12.5 μm, while the Aluminum is 20 μm, resulting in a total thickness of 45 μm. Sensitivity testing was conducted using 2.83v @ 1 meter. The crossover utilized is Butterworth. The components include FR4 pcb board and Aperion custom capacitors. High purity copper internal cables are used to minimize resistance. The transducer features a single ribbon design with dual firing open baffle, ensuring even distribution of the driving force across the vibrating element. Specification Frequency Response: 8 Khz-30 Khz Impedance: 4 Ohms Sensitivity: 103 dB Crossover Points: 8K, 10K, 12K, 14K, 16K & off Treble Adjust: 0,-1dB,-2dB,-3dB,-4dB,-5dB Crossover Slope: 12 dB/octave Recommended Power: 10-250 Watts Direct Power Handling: 20 Watts Tweeter: APERION Dual Firing Air Motion Transformer Product Weight: 4.65 lbs/2.1 Kg per each Product Dimensions: 8“ x 4.9" x 5.1" / 205 x 125x 130 mm (HxWxD) Placement Location: Add on top of speakers Shipping Weight: 10.4 lbs/ 4.7 Kg per pair Shipping Dimensions: 13" x 7.5" x 8"/340 x 190 x 205mm (LxWxH)   Features Dual Air Motion Transformer Ribbon tweeter Aperion's Dual Air Motion Transformer tweeter enhances the clarity, speed of sound reproduction, and artistic refinement of nearly all loudspeaker configurations. It showcases a natural richness in the high-frequency range, serving as a delightful reminder of our profound admiration for high-quality audio. 5-point Crossover + OFF Select from 8, 10, 12, 14, or 16 kHz to adjust the Super Tweeter floor for optimal integration with your speaker system. When set to "OFF," the Super Tweeter will be inactive. The 8 kHz option offers the greatest overlap with your current tweeter, whereas the 16 kHz option provides minimal overlap, focusing on the higher end of the frequency spectrum. The crossover slope is set at 6 dB/octave. Treble Adjust Knob Too much of a good thing? Use the treble adjust to reduce the output of the Super Tweeter. Just turn the dial to adjust to your taste, down to -5dB. Easy Connection By sharing the binding posts of the speaker it is paired with, the Super Tweeter can draw power from the main speaker without requiring a direct connection to an amplifier. Aluminum alloy metal enclosure The HST uses a sturdy aluminum alloy metal enclosure to withstand the fast vibrations of Its diaphragm.  5-Way gold-plated binding posts The 5-way gold-plated binding posts let you connect your speakers any which way you choose: bare wire, banana plugs, spades, round pins or flat pins.    Radial magnetic design The NRT technology utilizes neodymium magnetic radial magnetic field to position strong magnetic poles on either side of the sound membrane. This design enables centripetal convergence and direct drive of the sound unit, resulting in a more uniform and stronger radial magnetic field. As a result, the sound density and off-axis response are significantly improved, while magnetic loss is eliminated. This higher magnet efficiency leads to increased sensitivity and reduced distortion.  High-power amt diaphragm design With its specially designed high-power AMT diaphragm material, Aperion Audio has achieved a significant increase in bearing power compared to traditional AMT diaphragm materials. The incorporation of a high-efficiency radial magnet design further enhances the sensitivity, allowing it to reach an impressive 103 dB.
