Dabu Dye Block Print Curtain Drape Panel Cotton 46" x 88" Indigo Blue

DABU CURTAIN ~ Authentic indigo blue dabu hand block printed curtain panel in a bold checkered pattern. Measures approximately 46 inches wide x 88 inches long and has a 2 inch rod pocket. Made of 100% quality power-loom cotton offering a smooth tight weave. All panels are sold individually, duplicates are available. Can be machine washed on cool/gentle and tumble dried. The resist process called Dabu used here involves using wax or gum clay mixed with resin. With the help of brush or blocks or by hand this is applied to the portions of the cloth and then the color is then applied to it. The wax is then washed off in hot or flowing water and the applied color moves into this area to give a diffused effect. This process is somewhat similar to the batik process. Truly a work of art which can only be achieved by human hand. Many of our hand block printed panels have matching tapestry - spreads to match for a great ensemble. You will love the unique quality they add to your home decor!
