Hand block printing is an ancient technique going back thousand of years. It is an art using hand carved wooden blocks dipped in dye or wax and then repeatedly pressed onto the fabric by hand to create a pattern. It is the oldest and slowest form of textile printing known to man and has remained ever popular throughout the centuries. Many of our hand block printed panels have matching tapestry - spreads to match for a great ensemble. You will love the unique quality they add to your home decor!
