HRF-Thalamic (Hypothalamic Releasing Factor Complex)

The hypothalamus is a structure roughly the size of an almond, sitting beneath the thalamus at the base of the brain, and it is the hinge on which the endocrine system turns. It does not act on the body directly. It releases small peptides — releasing factors — that travel a few millimeters down a private portal circulation to the pituitary, which then instructs the thyroid, the adrenals, and the gonads. Nearly every hormonal rhythm you have begins in that almond. HRF-Thalamic is a glandular concentrate formulated on the classical principle behind this category of supplement: that tissue supplies the nutrient and peptide fractions characteristic of the gland it came from. It is used to support normal hypothalamic and pituitary function and the healthy regulation of the endocrine axis as a whole. We will be candid about the limits. Glandular preparations are a traditional approach with a long clinical history in nutritional medicine and a thin modern research literature. They are best used within a practitioner's guidance rather than experimentally. Ecological Formulas has prepared them to a hypoallergenic standard since 1981, without diluents, binders, or fillers.
