Moonlace

Moonlace is the ultimate effect yarn for anyone who wants to add a touch of magic and sparkling detail to their needlework. This unique yarn is spun on a base of soft cotton from Brazil. The fine thread is decorated with small sequins in varying sizes that catch the light and create a lively play of reflections. The selection offers everything from harmonious tone-on-tone shades to more contrasting combinations where the sequins really stand out. From deep, saturated tones to delicate, lighter colors, there are plenty of options to find exactly the right look for YOUR project. You can use Moonlace on its own for light garments, but it really comes into its own as a companion yarn together with a classic wool or cotton, or an airy silk mohair. It is the obvious choice for both festive blouses and elegant details on accessories, where the tiny sparkles lift the overall look. When your project is finished, it deserves a gentle hand wash and to be dried flat on a towel to take the best possible care of the delicate sequins. Whether you’re going for a subtle look or full impact, Moonlace is the perfect companion to make your next project truly unique. The yarn is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (no. 2476-419).
