Yarn Needles / Wool Needles - Extra Long

These extra-long yarn / wool needles are a must-have for any knitter or crocheter if you ask us! At least if you need to sew some of your larger projects from time to time. You get two long darning needles in this pack. One is straight (16 cm/6.3 in), and the other is curved (12 cm/4.7 in). Both needles have blunt tips, making them perfect for sewing yarn projects. For example, if you need to join the sides of your sweater, you can pick up several stitches with these needles before pulling it through the stitches, which will save you a lot of time. Here, the long straight needle is the perfect choice. If you, on the other hand, need to join all your Granny Squares to form, say, a blanket, these needles will make the whole process a piece of cake, and you’ll be done in half the time. In addition, they’re great if you need to sew through several thick layers of yarn and filling, like sewing a button on a pillow or attaching the arms and legs to the body of an amigurumi. With the long needle, you can work the needle through the body and several limbs in one fell swoop when it’s time to join all the pieces of the stuffed toy you've been working on. And for that reason, they’re also sometimes called doll needles. The curved needle makes picking up stitches an easy task when you’re joining things like raglan and edges or when you’re grafting.
