Sultan Pastello

Sultan Pastello is a beautiful cotton cake with a calm color gradient where the shades gradually meet lighter tones, adding a soft look to each stitch. Sultan Pastello is made of 100% pure, soft cotton with a unique structure consisting of 4 unwound strands. The yarn is designed to have stunning, long color changes with a smooth transition from one shade to another. The changes happen gradually, one strand at a time, creating a gorgeous gradient. Where the colors change, you will find a small knot in one of the four strands: a natural part of the yarn. Many work right over them, but you can also trim them and weave in the end for an even more seamless finish. Sultan Pastellos' color palette focuses on light, muted shades. Each cake has a fresh, bright color in the middle that gradually fades out, ending in a very light pastel or creamy white outer edge. This creates a light gradient that adds a sophisticated and airy look to your finished project. The perfect choice if you want a classic, understated look. The structure of the yarn ensures a beautiful drape, making the yarn perfect for projects with flow and movement like shawls, summer clothes, or pretty blankets. With a length of 800 meters per 200 grams (874.9 yds per 7 oz), you can finish large projects with just one skein! It’s the perfect match for crafters who love large projects but don’t like weaving in a bunch of ends. Sultan Pastello is the perfect choice for airy creations with subtle color changes that gradually fade into the light. The yarn is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (no. 2076-311). NB: We’ve given Sultan Pastello a much-needed brush up! Please bear with us while we phase out the old stock and don’t forget to order enough yarn for your entire project first time around.
