To prolong the life of the rug, keep in dry sheltered area out of the elements. When possible, keep away from water. The doormat fibers can darken when wet. This doormat is an outdoor doormat but it will last much longer and look nicer if it is kept out of the elements as much as possible.   The doormat can shed during shipping. We recommend opening your doormat package outside. Once you open your package and shake the doormat off, shedding shouldn’t be an issue after that.  Want it customized? Want a different paint color? I would love to create a custom order for you! Don't hesitate to message me for a custom order! (Color available for hand-painted doormats only.) NOTE: Each doormat is unique.
