How to Use a Breadboard Kit

How to Use a Breadboard Kit Grades: 6–12+ Number of Students: 1–2 Number of Lessons: NA Hours of Content: NA   Highlights: Enhance your electronics skills with this self-guided learning course. Inside, you will find a full-color handbook from the publishers of Make: magazine, a solderless breadboard, and all the components you’ll need. Illustrated with comic book-style panels, the handbook explains the basic principles of using a breadboard and then guides you through 10 fun and educational projects. Learning hands-on how to use a breadboard gives you a solid, introductory unit in fundamental electronics.   The included breadboard provides a platform on which to build a circuit and then deconstruct it for the next one. Because no soldering is required, the breadboard can be used repeatedly, for many different projects. The breadboard is the perfect platform for learning, whether at home or in the classroom. In addition, the components necessary to complete all of the projects in the handbook are included in the kit (9v battery not included). You will learn how to use photoresistors, potentiometers, diodes, 555 timers, capacitors, transistors, and more! The kit will also challenge you to figure out what else can be done with the circuits you have built.
