Hot Wings® Maple

Why it rocks: Behold the vibrant Hot Wings® Maple! This unique ornamental maple shows off throughout all seasons! Come spring, it puts on a show with clusters of white blossoms. Its fiery, red-winged samaras playfully dance against its lush green leaves. As it matures, it forms a pleasingly round silhouette, its branches spreading wide. When autumn arrives, it lights up the scene with leaves turning shades of yellow and red-orange. Unlike other ornamental Maple trees, Hot Wings® Maple can handle the chill of colder climates. It's not often you find a tree like Hot Wings® Maple— reliable yet daringly decorative. Where to put it: Hot Wings® Maple is the touch of flair your landscape’s been missing. Add color and texture to your yard— this tree functions well near patios, decks and pathways for a bit of screening, and beneath utilities, adding elegance and charm to your outdoor living spaces. Be sure to plant this tree about 10 - 12 feet away from nearby buildings to allow room for its full mature spread to take shape. What it needs: Hot Wings® Maple thrives best in full sunlight, although it can tolerate partial shade. This cold-hardy tree is well-suited to various soils and site conditions throughout the Chicagoland area. Please follow our tree care instructions for the first few growing seasons to help establish a strong root system.
