Hot Pink Striato

Note: Ranunculus ship starting in late September to late October based on availability and your zone, unlike other products. Plant around or after your first frost but before the ground freezes.  Give your garden a big boost of color with this lovely Ranunculus featuring fully double blooms in hot pink with black-red borders that create a stunning contrast. Growing 12” to 24” tall, it makes an excellent cut flower and attracts pollinators. It’s equally happy in a garden or container and thrives in partial shade to full sun. It blooms in late spring to early summer and grows as a perennial in Zones 8–10. In Zones 4–7, corms should be lifted, dried, and replanted each spring.  Hot Pink Striato is sold in packs of 10 for fall planting.  Planting Instructions:  Plant Ranunculus in the fall for zones 8-10 for spring blooms. In zones 4-7, store the hardened corms in a cool, dark place and plant in early spring for mid-summer blooms. Soak corms in room temperature water for 3-4 hours; avoid oversoaking. Choose an area with full sun for planting. Add compost and a balanced fertilizer to your soil. Plant corms 9” apart, 2-3” deep, with tentacles facing down in the soil. Water after planting and continue weekly watering to ensure the corms do not dry out for the remainder of the growing season.
