The PU surface and texture concentrate the strike a little, but the paddle has enough body to land thuddy at medium intensity. Start light to gauge the impact. Where on the body is it safe to use? Fleshy areas: the butt, thighs, and back. Avoid the kidneys, joints, spine, face, and neck. Start light to gauge the impact before going harder. Is there a wrist strap? Yes.
