Nylon Hose Chokers

Nylon Hose Chokers The Nylon Hose Choker has a specially designed choking action that allows the nylon to tighten down on the hose during a failure. Unlike the Whip Check or the steel Hobble Clamp, the Nylon Hose Choker will continue tightening down, sometimes even choking off the air for a more controlled release. The force calculator will give you the forces created during a failure with fluid. Double the fluid reading to calculate the force on hoses with air or gases. Fluid—100% Air—200% OSHAcademy Occupational Safety and Health Training Note: Double-wrap the Nylon Choker on each end. See the videos at the bottom of this page.
