Horween Chromexcel Leather Strap - Sage Green

Uncle's notes: Horween Chromexcel is one of the most well regarded leathers for both shoes and watch straps, and for good reason.  Made by Horween Leather Co. in Chicago, the unique process infuses the leather with oils and waxes, giving it a brilliant sheen and deep color.  This type of leather is called a "pull-up" leather, because as the material is stretched or bent, the infused waxes and oils move around, causing changes in the color. As a result, Chromexcel is made to be worn and makes a great material for a watch strap.  You will find it to be durable and to pickup signs of wear that only add to its character. Each of my leather straps comes with quick-release spring bars for convenient strap changes, a handsome stitched border and a classy yet robust brushed buckle. Due to the nature of a natural material like leather, I highly recommend a deployant buckle for your strap.  These deployant buckles will not only allow you quicker on/off the wrist, but they will put less stress on the leather holes, creating fewer creases and increasing the life of your strap.  You can find those here. Do you have a polished steel or gold case?  Not a problem - we sell these buckles in both finishes and are available as an upgrade right here.   What's included: One leather strap (2 pieces), including buckle hardware Specs: Length: 75mm / 119mm (not including buckle) Lug to Buckle width: 18mm tapers to 16mm 19mm tapers to 16mm 20mm tapers to 18mm 21mm tapers to 18mm 22mm tapers to 20mm
