Horizontal Slat Exterior Wood Shutters - Cedar - Set of 2

Quick Answer: Dogberry Collections Horizontal Slat Exterior Shutters are solid Western Red Cedar shutters with a contemporary horizontal slat design — sold in pairs, available in heights from 36″ to 84″, six color options. Cedar's natural oils resist rot, insects, and moisture without chemical treatment. The clean horizontal lines of the Horizontal Slat Exterior Shutters suit modern farmhouses, contemporary craftsman homes, coastal builds, and any exterior that leans toward the current rather than the traditional. Each shutter is milled from solid Western Red Cedar — the preferred exterior wood species for shutters and siding precisely because it contains natural tannins and oils that repel rot, insects, and moisture without requiring chemical pressure-treatment. The horizontal slat pattern adds visual texture to flat exterior walls and pairs naturally with board-and-batten, lap siding, and fiber cement panels.
