Handmade Kyanite Adjustable Brass Ring Mohs: 4.5-6.5 From Sizes 5.5-8.5 Origins: Africa, Brazil, Eastern Europe, India, Russia, Switzerland, USA Properties: Blue kyanite eases away old mental and emotional blocks, enabling a new perspective. The distinctive structure of kyanite makes it a useful tool in crystal healing as a conductor of energy, working as a channel to transmute negative energy out of the system and allow positive energy in.  It is a classic crystal for letting go, releasing old patterns that no longer serve us.  Extra Tidbit: Kyanite is an unusual mineral composed of aluminum silicate. It forms in parallel flat blades with visible striations, which are often embedded in metamorphic rocks or veins of quartz.  Handmade using raw brass. Double-triple coated. Some pieces are oxidized to give them the deep and warm feel of the ancients
