For those opting to wall-mount their feeders, the optional Wall Mount Extender provides additional clearance, accommodating a variety of accessories to enrich your bird-watching experience.  Whether you’re a seasoned bird enthusiast or just beginning your avian adventures, the Hopper Extension is an essential addition to your Bird Buddy ecosystem. DESIGNED EXCLUSIVELY FOR BIRD BUDDY 2: Increase your Bird Buddy 2's seed capacity with a custom-fit Hopper Extender designed specifically for Bird Buddy 2. Adds up to 2.5 cups of additional seed storage, reducing the frequency of refills and ensuring your feathered friends are always fed.  NEW HINGED MAGNETIC LID: Unlike removable lids, the integrated hinged lid stays attached to the extender while you refill. A built-in magnetic latch keeps the lid securely closed while allowing quick, convenient access whenever it's time to add more seed. HELPS KEEP SEED DRIER: Integrated drainage holes allow moisture to escape after rain or condensation, helping reduce standing water inside the hopper and supporting fresher seed over time.  PREMIUM PETG CONSTRUCTION: Precision 3D printed from UV-resistant PETG filament for outstanding outdoor durability. Built to withstand sun, rain, and changing weather without warping or degrading like many standard plastics. OPTIONAL MOUNT EXTENDER: Pair the Hopper Extender with our Wall Mount Extender to add an extra 2.5 inches of clearance, accommodating additional accessories and enhancing your bird-watching experience. DESIGNED & MADE IN THE USA: Every Hopper Extender is proudly designed, manufactured, and inspected by StramMade for exceptional fit, finish, and long-lasting performance.
