Hope Tech Disc Brake MTB Vented Rotors

Hope Tech Disc Brake MTB Vented Rotors Designed specifically for Hope Tech V4 brakes, the Vented Rotor is the highest-performing disc for the harshest operating conditions. The rotor's three-piece construction creates a gap between the external braking surfaces to help reduce heat buildup. Hope's Floating Disc Rotors are an excellent choice for riders seeking superior performance from their brakes. The floating rotor design enhances heat management by riveting the steel braking surface to an aluminum central carrier. This design allows the outer rotor to expand and contract freely without stressing the carrier, preventing warping. Includes rotor bolts. The braking surface measures 3.3 mm thick. Floating Rotor Features: Redesigned Braking Surface: The floating rotor has been redesigned with a wider braking surface to accommodate other brands of brakes in addition to Hope. Heat Dissipation: The two-piece rotor made of different metals dissipates heat better than a full steel rotor. Durability: Floating design allows for better heat management, preventing warping and ensuring long-lasting performance. Monkamoo Offers a Number of Different Hope Rotor Models: V4 Vented Rotor: Specific Design: The vented rotor is designed specifically for Hope Tech V4 series brakes. Internal Fins: The rotor uses internal fins to allow air to flow between the two friction parts. Reduced Heat Buildup: The induced airflow significantly reduces heat buildup in the rotor. Consistent Performance: Provides fantastic and consistent braking performance in wet conditions thanks to its capability to clear the water layer through its fins. Improved Heat Management: Dyno tests show up to 15% less heat buildup compared to Hope's floating rotors. Weight: 203mm rotor weighs approximately 288g. Compatibility: Compatible only with Hope V4 brakes. Diameter Options: Available in 203mm and 220mm diameters. Color Options: Seven colors - Black, Blue, Bronze (NEW!), Orange, Purple, Red, Silver.
