Akona 6.5mm Vented Hood w/ Zipper

The Akona 6.5mm Vented Hood is designed to provide superior thermal protection and comfort for cold-water diving. Constructed with thick 6.5mm neoprene, this hood helps retain body heat and reduce heat loss through the head—one of the primary areas where divers lose warmth underwater. Integrated venting allows trapped air to escape easily, preventing uncomfortable air pockets from forming at the top of the hood during dives. A snug anatomical design and durable construction ensure a secure fit while maintaining comfort throughout extended dive sessions. Built for reliability in demanding environments, this hood is an essential piece of exposure protection for cold-water divers. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0} Key Features 6.5mm neoprene construction – Excellent insulation for cold-water diving Vented top design – Allows trapped air to escape and prevents air buildup Comfortable anatomical fit – Designed to conform to the head for improved warmth Durable neoprene material – Built to withstand repeated dives and harsh conditions Secure face opening – Helps maintain a proper mask seal Cold-water protection – Reduces heat loss and improves overall dive comfort Ideal For Cold-water scuba diving Temperate and cold ocean environments Divers seeking additional thermal protection Extended dive sessions in cooler waters Recreational and technical divers Why Choose the Akona 6.5mm Vented Hood?
