Honey Hive Soap Bar

Honey Hive Soap is a creamy botanical cleansing bar formulated with colloidal oatmeal, honey, turmeric and aloe to gently cleanse while helping soothe dry-feeling skin and leave it feeling soft, smooth and comfortably moisturized. A well balanced soothing, moisturizing, gently cleansing bar, especially for dry or easily irritated skin. Key Benefits Oatmeal, Milk & Honey Soap Base provides the creamy, conditioning foundation. Oatmeal can help soothe dry-feeling skin, while the milk-and-honey style base gives the bar a richer, less stripping feel than a strongly cleansing soap. Colloidal oatmeal is one of the strongest ingredients in the formula for dry, sensitive-feeling skin. It can: Soothe itching and irritation associated with dryness Help support the skin's moisture barrier Reduce the tight, uncomfortable feeling that can follow cleansing Provide very gentle exfoliation Honey powder contributes to the moisturizing character of the bar. Honey is a humectant, meaning it helps attract and retain moisture, and it complements the oatmeal particularly well for skin that feels rough or dry. Turmeric powder provides antioxidant compounds and can help give dull-looking skin a brighter, more even appearance. It also gives the soap a naturally warm golden "honey" appearance. I would keep the amount fairly low so the bar doesn't stain washcloths or leave excessive yellow residue. Aloe vera powder adds another soothing component and is particularly useful for skin that feels dry, irritated, or uncomfortable after cleansing. Vitamin E oil is an antioxidant and emollient. In the soap, it helps give the skin a softer, more conditioned after-feel and complements the moisturizing ingredients. Sweet orange essential oil gives the honey scent a brighter, fresher top note while contributing a small amount of antioxidant activity. Its main benefit in a wash-off soap, though, is sensory/fragrance rather than treating a skin condition.
