Honey Bee - Punch Needle Pattern - Fine Detail Honeycomb & Floral Design | Paper or Cloth Options

Honey Bee-Punch Needle Pattern - This beautiful Honey Bee pattern was fun to create and will bring a touch of sunshine to any home. This Honey Bee pattern was completed using DMC floss, but the color guide now includes using the Valdani thread colors. So you can use DMC or Valdani threads or a combination of both thread companies to complete this fantastic Design.  The photographs of Honey Bee show the Design finished using DMC Floss colors. The edge is finished with a mini black pompom trim, framed in a shadow box with the glass removed. Honey Bee -pattern size: 6 1/2 x 8 1/2  There are two pattern options: Paper Pattern or Pattern on Weavers' Cloth. Both patterns include the full-color thread placement guide, which details exactly where each color is throughout the Design, along with the DMC Floss and Valdani thread color code list and instructions to create it.  Eighteen DMC Floss colors are used in the Honey Bee pattern, using 29 skeins to create this lovely Design. If you choose to use Valdani thread (size 12), there are 18 colors listed. Remember, you can always combine both thread companies to create this Design. I recommend using size 12 Valdani -Perle cotton threads with three of the six strands of DMC Floss if you choose to use a combination from both companies. The lines are around the same thickness and would mix and match very well. Paper Patterns- I recommend using a small lightbox and Micron 05 Archival Ink Pen for the Paper Patterns to trace your patterns onto your weaver's cloth fabric. *See Supplies for purchasing quality Weavers Cloth fabric if needed. The Pattern on Weaver's Cloth is a "ready to go" pattern on quality weaver's cloth fabric and is ready to go on your gripper frame or hoop. See Supplies for Weavers Cloth, Ultra Punch Needles, Tips & Technique booklet & other Punch Needle supplies. A wonderful pattern for the embroidery, needlework, and punch needle artist! DMC 6 Strand Floss Colors are used in the Honey Bee pattern.  This pattern used the Ultra Punch Needle with a small needle size. The length was set to #1 throughout the pattern except where noted on the color guide. DMC Floss used three of the six strands of floss. The color guide also includes more detailed punching directions for creating this pattern. So, you only need to choose which version of this beautiful pattern you want to order.
