Höner och Eir Nutiden

Nutiden by Höner och Eir is a celebration of Swedish wool in its purest form, an unspun yarn that captures the quiet beauty of nature and the soul of mindful craft. Created by Knut and Caroline in Sweden, Nutiden is 100% Swedish wool, hand-blended from local breeds, like Gotland and Swedish Finewool, to achieve a balance of softness, strength, and depth of color. Each plate is unique, with subtle variations that make every project a true one-of-a-kind creation. Nutiden is washed, dyed, and handled entirely in Sweden using gentle, chemical-free methods that preserve the wool’s natural lanolin and character. Whether used single-stranded for light, airy knits or held double for cozy sweaters, it invites creativity and connection with every stitch. Soft, sustainable, and steeped in care, Nutiden is a piece of Sweden’s woolly landscape, ready to be shaped by your hands. COMPOSITION: 100% Swedish Wool PACKAGE: 300g bag may include 4-6 cakes LENGTH: ~563 yards (515 meters) / 100g  YARN THICKNESS: Lace* FINISH: unpsun Made in Sweden *Nutiden is an incredibly versatile yarn. By drafting thinner strands or holding it double or triple, knitters can use needle sizes anywhere from US0 (1.75 mm) to US19 (15 mm), adapting Nutiden to nearly any pattern. With approximately 300g needed for a single-stranded sweater or 500g for a double-stranded one (size M/L), it invites creativity and experimentation in every project. Please note, Dra på trissor is a beautiful and intense emerald green with speckles of gold - this colorway will stain and dry-shead. After knitting, soak with clear vinegar and rinse more than you normally would. Please remember that every effort is taken to represent the true colors of the yarn and that monitor settings will vary.
