Honduras Princessa

Honduras Princessa - Marcala Highlands Air Roasted  • Smooth • High-Grown Balance Honduras has become one of Central America’s most dynamic coffee origins, producing everything from approachable blender coffees to high-elevation specialty lots with remarkable complexity. Grown in the La Paz and Marcala region. This Strictly High Grown (SHG) coffee develops slowly at elevations above 1,350 meters, allowing the cherries to mature gradually and produce denser beans with refined flavor structure. Historically, Honduran farmers often transported their coffee into Guatemala to receive higher market prices due to Guatemala’s reputation. Over time, government investment, improved infrastructure, and incentives for producers transformed the industry. Today, Honduras stands on its own as a respected origin, known for quality-focused farming and increasingly sophisticated processing practices. European Preparation (EP) ensures the beans are carefully hand sorted after milling to remove defects, creating a clean and consistent cup. Air-roasted at Passport Coffee, Honduras Princessa reveals a lively citrus character balanced by soft sweetness and a smooth, velvety finish, a versatile coffee that bridges bright Central American clarity with everyday drinkability.
