Homeschool First Grade Workbook

Come along with fun-loving Izzy, her explorer dad, and their best canine friend Parker as they take kids on a learning adventure around the world. First graders will follow these globe-trotting characters from city to city and country to country. The adventure begins with a short letter from Izzy that includes some strategies for making best use of the lessons. The workbook has a combination of learning pages that teach important first grade lessons and activity pages that reinforce skills and inspire creativity. Among the places kids “visit” (and practice skills!) are the Tower of London, Marakoopa Cave, the Great Barrier Reef, and the Leaning Tower of Pisa, encountering super cool fun facts along the way. The trip “itinerary” includes working on reading comprehension, tens and ones, greater than/less than, equations, addition and subtraction, telling time, counting coins, and other essentials. Kids also develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. A QR code inside the front cover offers 30 days free on the Anywhere Teacher online learning program, loaded with 2,500+ activities. Begin a great lifetime learning journey!
