Home Sweet Home

In Home Sweet Home - Andrius Miezis constructs a surreal apartment block that feels both intimate and disorienting. Each room reveals a fragment of modern existence - a woman bathing, an alien peering through a window, a penguin wandering lost in domestic geometry. The building’s walls dissolve into a dreamscape where isolation, absurdity, and quiet tenderness coexist. Miezis’s palette of muted grays and pale blues evokes melancholy, while the strange inhabitants inject a pulse of humor and unease. Every compartment becomes a metaphor for private worlds within the collective architecture of urban life. In Home Sweet Home, Miezis transforms the familiar idea of home into a psychological labyrinth - a place of comfort and confinement, where human fragility hides behind walls of imagination.
