Hollon HDS-750E 1-Hour Fireproof Data Media Safe | S&G Electronic Lock

Hollon HDS-750E 1-Hour Fireproof Data Media Safe The Hollon HDS-750E Data Safe is engineered to safeguard delicate digital media—including external hard drives, USB drives, CDs, tape backups, and memory cards—from critical thermal damage. Standard document fire safes keep internal temperatures under 350°F, which easily ruins digital storage media. The HDS-750E maintains an ultra-low interior temperature under 125°F during an external fire reaching 1850°F for a full 60 minutes. Outfitted with a high-security S&G UL Listed, Type 1 Electronic Lock, two removable shelves, and 354 lbs of heavy-gauge double-walled protection, this safe provides uncompromising protection against intense heat, sprinklers, water exposure, and ambient humidity. Key Security & Environmental Protection Features 60-Minute Fire Protection for Media: Holds internal temperatures below 125°F during an 1850°F external fire, shielding heat-sensitive digital devices (hard drives, flash storage, CDs, and magnetic tapes). S&G UL Listed, Type 1 Electronic Lock: Equipped with a commercial-grade Sargent & Greenleaf digital keypad lock for fast, highly secure code-based entry. Water & Humidity Resistance: Sealed double-door construction protects stored media from fire department hoses, sprinkler runoff, and elevated ambient humidity. Heavyweight Construction: Weighing in at a solid 354 lbs, it provides significant physical theft deterrence along with thermal mass insulation. No Center Bolt-Down Hole: Purposefully designed without bottom floor anchor holes to eliminate pathways for heat, water, and humidity transfer into the internal media chamber. Dual Removable Shelving: Includes 2 removable shelves to organize tape backups, hard drive arrays, and camera storage easily. Paper documents withstand heat up to 350°F, but digital storage media begins corrupting and melting at 125°F. The Hollon HDS-750E Data Safe uses specialized double-wall insulation to restrict internal temperatures below 125°F during a 1850°F fire. What is the difference between the HDS-750E and the smaller HDS-500E? The HDS-750E is significantly larger and heavier (354 lbs vs. 141 lbs) with double the vertical interior capacity (16-7/8" H vs. 11-1/4" H), features 2 removable shelves instead of 1, and upgrades to a UL Listed Type 1 S&G Electronic Lock. Why is there no center anchor bolt hole on the bottom of the safe? To preserve strict thermal control under 125°F and prevent water or humidity penetration from sprinklers, the safe is constructed without bottom floor penetrations that would breach the outer protective insulation layer. Is the Sargent & Greenleaf electronic lock reliable? Yes. The S&G Type 1 Electronic Lock is a commercial-grade lock certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) for security, accuracy, and tamper resistance in commercial and high-security settings. Can I remove or adjust the interior shelves? Yes. The safe comes with 2 removable shelves, giving you full flexibility to configure the storage area for tall hard drive towers or stacked backup media trays.
