Hoist Sconce - Medium Shade

The RBW Hoist Sconce transforms the sophisticated material combination of opal blown glass and spun steel into a wall-mounted format that brings architectural elegance to hallways, bathrooms, and anywhere you need refined illumination with a clean, contemporary profile. The interplay between the soft diffusion of the blown glass and the precision of the spun steel housing creates this compelling visual contrast that feels both industrial and luxurious, making it equally at home in modern residential spaces or high-end commercial environments. What's particularly appealing about the proportions is how the sconce maintains substantial presence on the wall without projecting too far into the space, making it perfect for narrower hallways or areas where protruding fixtures would be problematic. The performance delivers impressive functionality from a surprisingly compact form, with 658 lumens providing serious illumination capability that can handle both ambient and task lighting needs while consuming just 9W of power. The opal blown glass creates this beautiful, even light distribution that eliminates harsh shadows and provides the kind of quality illumination that makes spaces feel welcoming rather than clinical. The IP65 wet location rating opens up installation possibilities that most sconces simply can't handle - steam showers, covered outdoor walkways, or pool areas where moisture would destroy standard fixtures. The ADA compliance ensures it works well in commercial applications while the 50,000-hour LED lifespan means you're installing lighting that will perform consistently for decades. RBW approaches sconce design with this focus on creating fixtures that solve challenging architectural lighting problems while maintaining the kind of material quality and aesthetic refinement that enhances rather than compromises interior design. Their patented design reflects their commitment to innovation rather than just following conventional lighting approaches, ensuring you're investing in something truly unique. The brand understands that wall-mounted lighting often needs to work the hardest of any fixtures, providing both functional illumination and contributing to the overall character of spaces while meeting demanding performance and safety requirements that lesser fixtures simply cannot achieve.
