Hoist Sconce Corded - Large Glass Diffuser - Medium Shade

The RBW Hoist Sconce Corded takes that sophisticated combination of opal blown glass and spun steel and makes it work for people who need flexibility over permanent installation - perfect for renters, temporary setups, or spaces where running new electrical just isn't happening. The materials still have that same compelling contrast between the soft, diffused glass and the precision of the spun steel, but now you can experiment with placement, move it seasonally, or take it with you when life changes. What's nice is how the aluminum base gives it a finished look even when it's mounted to a simple wall bracket rather than being hardwired, so it doesn't scream "temporary lighting" the way most corded fixtures do. At 658 lumens from 9W, you're getting serious illumination that can handle both task and ambient lighting needs while keeping energy costs minimal over the 50,000-hour lifespan. The opal blown glass creates this beautiful, even light distribution that works well for reading areas, bedside lighting, or anywhere you want quality illumination without harsh shadows. Being rated for dry locations only means indoor use, but that covers most situations where you'd want this kind of refined portable lighting. The patented design means you're getting something genuinely unique rather than just another cord-and-socket setup with a nice shade. RBW understands that premium lighting shouldn't require an electrician or a permanent commitment to one location. Their approach to creating corded versions shows they're thinking about real-world situations - like rental restrictions or changing needs - rather than just ideal installation scenarios. They maintain the same material standards and performance whether you're hardwiring or plugging in, so you get the same quality and aesthetic without compromising just because you want portability. It's lighting that adapts to how you actually live instead of forcing you to work around fixed installations.
