Hogsworth Bourbon Whiskey & Armagnac

They said bourbon and Armagnac couldn’t coexist and so far Hogsworth has proven them wrong. Whiskey purists and brandy aficionados rarely see eye to eye, but Hogsworth Bourbon Whiskey & Armagnac forces them to reconsider everything they thought they knew. This isn’t just a fusion—it’s a reckless stroke of genius, blending the deep, caramel-laden warmth of Kentucky bourbon with the rich, fruit-soaked elegance of Armagnac. The result? A spirit that refuses to be defined by tradition, delivering a drinking experience so layered and unexpected that it feels like alchemy in a glass. The journey begins with toasted oak and butterscotch, opening into waves of dark cherries, honey-drizzled figs, and spiced vanilla. The Armagnac influence takes hold mid-palate, unfolding into notes of dried apricot, roasted almonds, and a wisp of cocoa, all wrapped in a velvety texture that feels almost indulgent. Just when you think you’ve figured it out, a slow-building warmth of cinnamon, nutmeg, and charred caramel carries the finish to an impossibly long, lingering fade. Some spirits play it safe. Hogsworth rips up the rulebook and writes something entirely new. TASTING NOTES Nose: Honey, creme brulee, baking spices, gingersnap. Palate: Chai, green apple, black pepper, orange zest. Finish: A firm business handshake, with oak spice, marmalade and vanilla bean.
