Franz Hoffmann® Concert Viola Deluxe Outfit

The Franz Hoffmann™ Concert Viola: Best In Class Just Got Better. When a student starts out on a viola of lesser quality, it's easy for them to get discouraged early, to blame themselves for problems caused by the instrument itself. Students deserve better! With its excellent European construction and materials, the Franz Hoffmann™ Concert viola — the “Best in Class” value and performance in the Hoffmann line — offers just that. The Franz Hoffmann™ Concert Viola is built to exacting construction metrics and utilizes seasoned tone woods, making for one of the finest student-level violas on the market today. Each instrument is outfitted with premium Thomastik Alphayue strings, offering unparalleled playability and tonal quality for this price range. All Concert violas are set up at our facility in Beijing and undergo an extensive quality control process. They are then carefully shop-adjusted upon arrival at Shar’s facilities in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This level of attention to detail and quality is rarely seen from any other viola shops online, but we at Shar strive to bring our decades of experience to bear to ensure that each Concert viola is among the best violas for beginners for sale. Each Concert viola is built from high-quality materials, featuring ebony pegs and fingerboard, a hand carved bridge, a hand-applied spirit varnish, and a composite tailpiece with four fine tuners. All instruments are outfitted with a Guarneri chinrest for comfortable playing. This Shar-exclusive outfit is also packed with cool viola accessories, which afford students everything they need to get started on their path to musical excellence.
