Hobonichi Techo Document Case Alettone A6

The Hobonichi Techo is a Japanese daily planner. This is a slim case that holds the A6 size lying on its side, along with the papers, tickets and pens that pile up around it. Why people love it • Soft PVC and only 8 mm thick, about 75 g, so it slips into a bag without taking up room • Snap buttons hold it shut and the lid folds down with a click, which is where the name comes from: an alettone is the aileron on an aircraft wing • Clear pockets on both sides, so you can see what you put in • A pocket on the back keeps a ticket or a memo pad within reach • A line is pressed into it in gold foil: writing by hand is like sending your mind on a journey It comes in three quiet colours, shown above.
