Hobonichi Techo Cover

The Hobonichi Techo is a Japanese daily planner, and it is sold as a plain book. This is the cover that goes around it. Open the book right out, slide the front and back boards into the pockets at either end, and it is in. A6 fits the Original, the English Planner, the Avec half year books and the A6 Day-Free. A5 fits the Cousin, the Cousin Avec and the A5 Day-Free. Why people love it • Pockets inside and out, from small card slots up to ones that take a postcard • Somewhere for your pen: a loop at each side that a pen threads through to hold the cover shut, or a hook that grips a pen by its clip • Two ribbon bookmarks with a charm on the end, so your week and your notes stay a flick apart • Zipped versions close right round, so nothing works its way out in a bag • Nothing on it is dated, so next year's book goes straight into the same cover The artwork runs from plain colours and printed patterns to work by illustrators and museums, all shown above.
