Hobonichi Graph Notebook

Grid paper from Hobonichi, made with the same Tomoe River paper as their Techo planners. Stitched so it opens completely flat. Why people love this paper • It takes wet fountain pen ink, highlighters and brush pens without bleeding through • Ink sheen and shading show up clearly on its smooth surface • It is thin enough that a whole book of it still slips into a bag The grid is 3.7 mm, the same as the Techo Original and Cousin, and its colour changes as you work through the book: red, then blue, then green, then purple. That makes each section easy to tell apart, so you can give one to a project and find your way back to it later. The covers run from a plain yellow to a botanical drawing by Tomitaro Makino, a cat watching from a doorway, and the Moomins.
