HO113 = Economy Jeweler's Mitre Jig

Economy Jeweler's Mitre Jig - Adjustable Angle Cutting Guide This economy jeweler's mitre jig is a practical, no-frills solution for accurately cutting tubing, wire, and small stock at precise angles. It's designed to hold your material securely while guiding your saw blade for consistent, repeatable mitre cuts which is especially useful for frames, corners, and clean joints. This is a budget-friendly version of a classic jeweler's tool. It does the job well, but it's important to understand what that means in real-world use. What to expect: * Solid steel construction with adjustable sliding top * Works with standard jeweler's saw blades * Suitable for tubing, wire, and small flat stock * Good accuracy once set and secured Economy-grade notes (please read): * This is an economy tool, not a precision-finished, European-made jig * The sliding top may arrive snug or stiff due to plating thickness or normal machining tolerances * In many cases, a drop of light oil and a short break-in period will allow the slider to move smoothly * Some users may choose to lightly polish the guide posts for improved movement These small fit-and-finish variances are common in economy tools and do not affect the jig's ability to make accurate cuts once adjusted. If you want a mitre jig that works reliably at an affordable price, and you're comfortable with a little setup, then this is a solid choice. If you prefer a tool with refined machining and a silky-smooth slide straight out of the box, a higher-end mitre jig may be a better fit. This mitre jig is made of hardened steel. It is used for holding wire and sheet up to 27.5mm wide at both 45deg and 90deg. A stop bar is included to perform consistent cuts repeatedly. Overall size: 67.5mm H x 48mm W x 9.5mm D Includes 45deg and 90deg angles 6 grooves are designed to hold a wide range of wire and tubing Includes stop for making repeated cuts of the same length
