Paradise (Piccolo and Piano)

Paradise (Piccolo and Piano) By Stephen Hough, Published By Joseph Weinberger. Stephen Hough's Paradise, written as the test piece for the 2016 National Flute Association Piccolo Artist Competition does something a little bit different; as the composer himself says, “I wanted to allow the piccolo to become the romantic lead to play the passionate hero.” Written in three sections, Hough's piece is a typically thoughtful, stylish and welcome addition to the piccolo repertoire.
