Hippo Ochre Doodle

Ochre Hippo, Drawn Loose and WarmStart with the color. Ochre, burnt umber, soft coral, and a little sage green sit in flat blocks across the canvas, and a hippo runs over the top in white line. Those lines follow the cheek, the brow, the heavy snout, easy and unhurried. It reads hand-drawn because it is, more sketchbook than studio. The palette is all earth, so it settles into a room instead of shouting over it. Try it in a living room, a reading corner, or a kid's space that's leaning a bit more grown-up. The safari subject keeps things playful while the muted tones keep it calm. Pairs well with Animal Artwork, Living Room Wall Art and Colorful Artwork. --- Warm Hippo in White LineA hippo built from ochre, umber, and coral color blocks, then traced in loose white doodle lines. Earthy and relaxed, playful without trying too hard.
