Hippo Carving on Base

These cute stone Hippo carvings are glued to a curved base so they are standing on a little rock. The bottom is gently curved but well-balanced, allowing them to bobble slightly but not tip over. Choose from a host of colorful gemstones, that each contrast nicely with their little stand made of black onyx.  African Queen Picture Jasper Blue Aventurine Lapis Lazuli Neutral sandy shades of Jasper with darker brown or black patterning like bands, speckling, or dendrites. This shade of aventurine is a true blue, with slight changes to a deeper hue or a faded denim shade. A saturated royal blue stone that contains little inclusions of pyrite, which flash a metallic gold color. Nature's Paintbrush Orange Calcite Rhodonite This dolomite is a pale tan shade with an allover speckled appearance.  A nice solid orange color with a slightly crystalline opacity to the surface. Light to dusty pink with brown and black inclusions. Serpentine (green) Serpentine (brown) Serpentine (white) Created from sections of serpentine/lizardite that is a bright solid green with no other coloring. Created from the typical serpentine combination of green and brown with black patterning.
