Himo Togarashi - Seeds

Himo Togarashi – (Capsicum annuum) Himo Togarashi is a traditional Japanese sweet pepper prized for its long, string-like pods and its role in classic Nara cuisine. The peppers grow thin and curly—often 4–6 inches long—hanging in clusters that give the plant its “himo” (string) name. They ripen from green to red, becoming sweeter as they mature while remaining completely heat-free. These peppers shine in stir-fries, soups, and noodle dishes but are just as enjoyable eaten fresh thanks to their crisp texture and delicate sweetness. Plants reach 2–3 feet tall and are extremely prolific, producing an abundance of these uniquely twisted peppers all season long. A perfect choice for gardeners who appreciate rare cultural varieties and mild, flavorful fruit. Heat level: 0 to 500+(SHU's) – Mild/Sweet. Flavor:  Fruity & Sweet.
