Himalayan Natural Dog Chew Original

About Himalayan Pet Supply From the humble beginnings at a small local pet fair in Bellingham, WA to the we are today, we’ve led the pet industry in an innovative new direction with our original hard cheese chews; creating a new category within pet industry. It started in 2003 with an idea born out of curiosity. Two brothers, Suman and Sujan Shrestha, their friend, Nishes Shrestha and Kaos the dog discovered that dogs love Churpi; the traditional Nepalese chew made for people of the Himalayas. They spent 4 years re-engineering the traditional ancient recipe by removing the lactose and fat content; creating a healthy, savory long-lasting chew for dogs now known as The Himalayan Dog Chew. Since 2007, Himalayan Pet Supply has been synonymous to healthy, natural and safe products for pets. Today as a leader in the dog chew industry, the company is committed to honor and integrate time tested traditions and creative innovations to best serve their consumers, our four-legged friends. Himalayan Pet Supply believes that the foundation of every relationship is respect, therefore, the brand is committed to building relationships the Himalayan way, by providing exceptional customer service, and producing and selling products of the highest quality. Himalayan Pet Supply has always believed in giving back to the community, especially farmers, who the company trusts are the heart of the global community. The company started in Nepal with small family farms and today partners with farmers around the globe as well as locally, with a Washington State dairy farm, producing 124 million pounds of milk per year. Now, Himalayan Pet Supply is certified for quality by SQF, APHIS, AIB and WFTO. So, what is a Himalayan Chew? The Himalayan Dog Chew was born from an ancient recipe for a hard cheese snack chewed by the people of the Himalayas. In the mountains surrounding Mt. Everest at more than 15,000 feet, it is made using traditional methods with yak and/or cow milk, and all natural products with no preservatives or binding agents. They are also gluten free! Depending on the size and eating habits of your dog, this can be a very long lasting chew. Dogs must work the end of the treat for hours, softening it with their mouths before small parts of the chew can be slowly chewed off. When you give a Himalayan Dog Chew to your dog, you know that you are providing them with high-quality eating entertainment.
